OUR MISSION:

The mission of East Mooresville Intermediate School is to enable students to develop the skills necessary to become responsible global citizens, compete in the international marketplace, and become lifelong learners.

SCHOOL NEWS:

We have been in school for over 30 days and have already recorded more than 80 stop-arm violations. This is an alarmingly high number, and we need your help in raising awareness among students, staff, parents, and the community.

When a bus activates its amber (yellow) lights, drivers should slow down and prepare to stop. Once the bus comes to a complete stop, the red lights will flash, and the stop sign will be deployed. At this point, all traffic must stop as per the traffic guidelines linked below.

Even when a bus is in a parking lot loading or unloading students, the stop-arm must be extended, and no vehicles should pass from either direction. Stop-arm violation tickets can be issued even on private property, including locations like parking lots or Blue Devil Blvd.
