Mentoring has been a practiced art of developing and maintaining positive and helpful human relationships for hundreds of years, by nearly every culture, in various individuals and groups, and in many different ways. With this in mind, Mooresville Graded School District implemented the Change-A-Life mentoring program. Several years into this program, the Change-A-Life mentoring committee and site coordinators at each school have established a successful program for our students and all involved have experienced the enormous value mentoring is to individuals and societies and the life-changing results it can have for both the mentee and the mentor. Program success is only possible with the support of the business community, faith-based organizations, social agencies, service institutions, and our schools. We hope you will consider getting involved as a mentor today!

The primary purpose or function of public school facilities is to provide quality educational environments conducive to the learning of the students they serve. It is the intent of the Mooresville Graded School District Board of Education to encourage the use of school buildings and grounds by the community for educational, recreational, civic and cultural activities to the extent possible under public school laws and regulations. Accordingly, community use of school buildings and grounds for educational, recreational, civic and cultural activities shall be permitted so long as such use does not conflict with the use of public school buildings and grounds for public school purposes and activities, with state and federal laws, with local ordinances or with the proper care and maintenance of school facilities and grounds.
Mooresville Graded School District partners with Facilitron for ease in renting facilities, allowing facility use requests to be submitted at any time.
