Patterson Farm STEM Field Trip Permission Slip

Trip Date: Tuesday, November 10th, 2026

Time: 9:00am-2:00pm

Cost: $16 per student if paying by cash/check

$17.04 if paying through ParentSquare to cover 6.5% fee

Form & Payment due: Tuesday, October 27th, 2026

Dear Parents/Guardians:

This November, third graders will take a field trip to Patterson Farms to participate in a limited time outdoor STEM laboratory. Students will conduct hands-on investigations where they will learn about the science of Force & Motion.

The total cost is $16, which includes admission, bus transportation, and all activities. We accept online payment through ParentSquare, exact cash, or checks payable to East Mooresville Intermediate School. Payment is due by Tuesday, October 27th, 2026, and all payments are non-refundable.

Please ensure your child arrives on time as we will depart by 9:00 AM. We will be eating lunch at the farm. Students may bring a packed lunch or pre-order a cafeteria bagged lunch.

If you are interested in chaperoning, please notify your child’s teacher as soon as possible. Chaperoning is a commitment. Please reach out to your teacher for details and requirements.
